Vp dp-sm correct oil level

Quick question: when filling the outdrive with oil it shall be horizontal or completely tuck in (run position)?
The service manual tells to tuck the outdrive completely in for draining the oil (it makes sense for draining) but does not specify the position when refilling.

In running position completely level.

Make sure you fill the drive from the bottom which is the drain behind the props until it comes out the hole near the shift linkage.

Make sure you replace the o-rings on all the plugs.

Do not overfill it will prevent correct shifting
