VP sterndrive identification help?

The plate where should be the model number is missing. Here is some pictures of it. Does anyone have an idea what it might be?

What engine model or serial number. Could be a 290 or an SP-A or B or DP of any of the ones I mentioned. Things have been changed, so hard to say. The top cover may have been replaced along with the back cover since they are a different color, along with the lower. You can change a single prop to a duoprop by just replacing the lower.

Ok, thanks! Engine is OMC 4.3 205hp. So does all of those models you mentioned use same oil and same bellows? What are the main differences between those models? Any possibilities to identify exact model with some more inspection?

That won't help, it's not even a Volvo engine.

The ujoint bellows is the same for all of the, the exhaust bellows is the one WITHOUT the exhaust flappers in it. The drive has it on the back. The gear lube is SAE 90 or 80W90 Grade GL5 mineral oil, you can also use the GL5 Synthetic gear lube which is 75W90. Either one is fine. Just don't use engine oil, that was for the single prop drives only.
