VRO and running engine dry - who knew?

As you run out of fuel, the oil still pumps, filling the lines and carbs with your favorite TC-W3 lubricant."<br /><br />This is from the article that seahorse linked to (thanks good article)<br /><br />Will everyone still run their engine dry for the winter then?<br /><br />Or do they mean dont run it dry during everyday use?
