VRO Bypass

i have a 88 110hp v4 i had just bypassed the vro pump(oil Side) and left the fuel side connected i keep on having an issue with fouling plugs do i have to cover up the existing line for the oil side and i didnt so will this not covering of the line foul out plugs and also on the fuel choke sytem i have a line missing one of the little line the one that attaches to the top of the carb so overall will eithier of the line cause a fouling plug problem.

you have to plug the oil side. check your compression and spark. neither should cause fouling. are you using CHAMPION plugs QL77JC4 or QL82C gapped at .030. if not change to the proper plug. NAPA carries Champion.

The QL82C plug works best in that motor. Be sure the thermostats and pressure relief valves are in good shape and that each cylinderhead warms up above 125?F.
