VRO bypassed

Hey guys. First time here, and first time boat owner. Been around boats throughout my life, it never had the pleasure of owning.

I recently bought a 1995 wellcraft 190 ccf powered by a 115 Johnson Ocean Runner. The guy I purchased from bypassed the vro, and had all carbs redone along with water pump. So, I have a question:
1) there is a full tank of oil (for the vro premix) in the stern. That is not needed anymore, correct? Since I will now premix manually

pump it out and premix it

Just take the tank out. If the oil is not that old use it in your pre-mix.
