vro delete??

i posted yesterday about my vro pump leaking fuel out the top. from what i have been told i have to replace the whole pump which is really expensive. my question is i hear about people getting rid of the vro pump and mixing the oil in the fuel tank. how would i go about doing this? is there a kit i need to buy that deletes the vro pump? and where can i get one? thanx

the motor is a 1987 evinrude 70 hp.

Tashasdaddy, that wqs about water pumps. Im looking for info on how to delete my vro pump. Basically i just need to know what fuel pump i need to buy for a 1987 evinrude 70 hp 3 cyl. Also do you just pull off the vro pump and put a fuel pump in its place or is there more to it

thanx for all of the help guys, but i still need to know where i can get a fuel pump or a part # for a pump. the only ones i can find are for 55hp and lower. if anyone knows a part # or where i can get one for a 70hp it would be helpful.
