is there any way of testing if the contacts work on the vro oil tank if its low of oil ive put a test meter on it there is no reading should this read short circuit? or not. this is for evinrude 70hp 1989
The most positive way is to drain the oil tank and see if the alarm comes on when the key is in the ON position. It should beep every 1/2 second every 20 seconds. When you fill it to more than 1/4 tank, it should stop.
