Vro Plug

I just bought a boat the mechanic disabled the VRO pump(wires) I want to take the tank out as I need room for another battery , what can I plug the hole into the engine with??? Thanks Your advice is greatly apprerciated I love this forum

Just a question Jay....the wrench disabled the VRO by disconnecting the wires? Now I ain't the sharpest tack in tha' box but I do know ya' need to do a little more than that. If he wanted to disable the pump, then he would have pulled off the oil line and put a rubber cap on the engine oil line tube. (These are available from the Johnny/Rude dealer.)<br /><br />Did I understand your post right?????
