VRO Tank Capacity

No where in the manual does it tell the capacity of the VRO oil tank. Motor is 1994 Evinrude 175.

1.8 gallons for the standard tank and 3 gal. for the optional one. There is a specialty tank that holds around 10 gallons and is set up for 3 pickups.

Great.....Thanks. But now how do I know if I have the 1.8 or 3. I beleive its the 1.8 but how can I make sure.<br /><br />Thanks

Fill it half way up(Visually) and then see how much it takes to fill it all the way up to the top. If it's the 1.8, then it will take .9 Gal to fill it. If it's the 3 Gal, then it will take about 1.5 Gal to fill it. Or, measure the tank and use this Rectangular Calculator to figure it out.
