Any Wahoo owners out there?
My 1987 Wahoo 16.2 twin console deck and wells drain to a rear well in front of the transom which drains through a rear plugged fitting. There is also another hull plug under this one.
When in the water, do you run with the upper drain open and the lower drain plugged, or both plugged?
Thanks. P1090132.JPG

Welcome aboard.

I don't know about the drains, but if the boat sits at rest with those below the waterline, both should probably be plugged.

I do know you better do something about those 4 screws and 2 holes. Wood screws are not recommended.

The upper drain is for the self bailing deck correct? If so there's no way it can self bail if you plug it.... And yeah those screw holes are a very serious issue.

As is that big chip out of the gelcoat where the transom meets the bottom.

Thanks. Yes, I do have some gelcoat challenges before I put it in the water, here and elsewhere. I've had it about a week, lol. Appreciate the responses.
