Bought a 8x6 roll of indoor, outdoor carpet from Lowes. Cut it big enough so it would wrap around the air floor about an inch. Cut a couple of holes for the floor and Keel air valves after I took the pic. Inflated the boat and that was it. Carpet has no backing and is pretty thin so it fits nice and snug. Not so sure how long it will last, but at $18 a roll you can replace it every season.

Doesn't look bad at all, what'd you use to attach it? I used the same stuff customizing a trailer to carry my SD470. I'm waiting on some samples to come from Seadek.com, they have some really cool nonslip stuff but at a premium.

Didn't attach it to anything. Make it wide enough so you van tuck it down the sides of the floor a bit then air it up. Seems pretty snug and I didn't even put the required amount of air in. Time will tell whether it will work out.

Chop,

Is that a simple walking like carpet, if so, will trap water on its fibers, when compltely soaked will add extra weight to your combo. What you can do is apply an overddose of 3M Scotguard waterproofing product or equivalent to whole carpet for water to slide off and doesn't lodge inside fiber.

Happy Boating

Doubt it will get soaking wet, however, scotch guard is a great idea. Think I even have some around here.

That is a good idea... After a couple outings on the mc365 I may try it out!
