Anyone here use either? Any preferences on designs?

We've used both and both work. We had the Saf-T ones in one of the Offshore race boats but APBA didnt like it only because the switch could be thrown in the up or run position without the lanyard being attached.

Some folks thought that was kinda picky but you gotta remember whats at stake.

We had the toggle type on a previous boat and a couple of times the lanyard pulled the toggle part way so the engine wouldn't start but the cause wasn't obvious. Based on my experience I would select the second model pictured.

A spare lanyard would be a good idea. ;)

I like the Seadog (second one). Not sure about the top one but the Seadog has a set of NO contacts and a set of NC contacts. I use the NO contacts for an electric fuel pump.

c/6
Hooty
