I have a 1962 Lone Star Biscayne and it needs a facelift. I want to paint the top, sides and bottom but the paint that is sold as "Marine" seems to be extremely overpriced. Someone said that they used Rustoleum enamel - but can I paint the sides along with the top with it? I want to paint the whole boat gloss white. I know I need to use bottom paint for the bottom. Oh, by the way, the boat is fiberglass.

Gricey you only need to use bottom paint if you are going to be leaving the boat in the water more than a day . I am using Rustoleum exclusively on my boat and it is turning out great . Actually several of us Starcrafters are using Rustoleum . Feel free to take a look at my boat in the link in my post . once at my thread the most recent pictures are in the last 3 or 4 pages . One good thing is you wont have to use Zinc Chromate on yours since its glass :D.
