Want to purchase Yamaha 225 2004 Four Strokes Any Concerns?

Im going for a sea trial next week on a Venture 34 2004 with Yamaha 225 Four Strokes. Owner says warranty is good until September 2009. Can any of the Yamaha guys offer any advice or tell me what to look for? Please...

I asume the warranty will be transferable. Is it hard to transfer?

the 04 had a few recalls none bad just have your dealer run the primary IDs through YDIS and make sure they were done, most were simple things that will be done regaurdles or warrenty status.
as far as running issues, they are very rare.

I talked to Yamaha Public relations today about the existing extended warrantys that ARE transferable. But I have to reregister the warranty thru a local dealer ( no Problem) to check on recalls and have them in my name.
