want to swap 170outdrive for sx cobra

would a sx cobra fit the opening of where my 170 outdrive was.would i be able to swap.thanks for any respond

The transom shield will fit the hole, but you won't have a flywheel cover with the proper motor mount pads on it. Yes you could get one made, not sure how or why. Because after all that expense, you then get to move on to the exhaust tube from the engine to the bottom of the transom shield.
All that for a 470? What's wrong with the Alpha drive?

I think he meant the 270 drive on his AQ170? And no, the transom shield wont fit the hole. 'nutcase
