Wanted -True Course steering gear

The gear on my drive is missing 1/2 of the tooth in several locations. I haven't been able to find any on GLM or Sterndrive, etc. I'll be glad to pay any reasonable price plus shipping.<br /><br />Jon

On your drive? or on the intermediate?..<br /><br />I found one for the intermediate (30 tooth), looks like new - I can prob find a drive side one if I keep digging.

The gear that I need is located on the upper r/s of the intermediate unit as seen from behind the boat( the outdrive is removed). It's a splined gear held on by an external snap ring.<br /><br />Jon

the $27 one says sold.... but anyways, mine's $10 with shipping included... however I'm wondering why that site says "Use with right hand worm gear assembly" ... it's a straight cut gear... maybe their $27 one is worn on one side....so they're saying to go "t'other way" with it... <br /><br />It's in the mail, Jon... if it doesn't work out just send it back

Sorry, did'nt notice the sold sign....dont understand why is says to use with right hand assembly either, gear still turns both ways???? Who knows? ohhhh well
