If you have a local YMCA or similar group, they may have sailing cheap. Or find a local marina and ask anyone going sailing. They are always looking for crew and you could snag a ride that way and learn while doing... Google sailing instruction and you will find a lot of videos on how to... Youtube has many vids to learn too.
