wards sea king by chrysler

did chrysler make a version of their wards line?<br />i have a 15hp model# vwb 52119c, the chrysler model numbers i'm finding are different. i'm looking for the year and a manual.

hi Bwtrout<br />SeaKing was a Montgomery Ward brand name. Over the years many differnt manufactures made outboards for Wards under the SeaKing brand. Many other retailers had simular deals,Sears being another. Your Outboard was made by Chrysler Marine Div. in 1982. Because Wards is no longer,it my prove difficult to find parts using the SeaKing name and part#s.An after market manual for Chrysler covering your year will work fine. Service parts should be available from a die-hard Chrysler/Force dealer.

thanks alcan, the seaking name was throwing me for a loop. its a funny little 15. good runner and light weight. the prop is composite and seems mismatched? the engine makes alot of comotion but i swear my old johnson 5 keeps up with it?
