Warning horn location?

Apparently my boat has worning horn for the oil tank level and also for the temperature overheat indication. I have a 1986 Edson with a 120 Johnson on it. Does anyone know where this horn might be located? There are wires coming out of the oil tank but I can't get my head under there to see a horn, and I can't seem to make it sound either.

Thanks.

The horn is in the control if it is a standard side mounted one.

The horn is connected to the positive, purple line running from the accessories post on your ignition switch.

A tan wire runs from the horn through your wiring harness to the engine, where various events close the circuit by grounding it to the engine block. The temperature switches in the cylinder heads close at temperatures around 210º F and thus sound the horn.

You can test the tan wire and the horn by sliding back the sleeve that you will find near the engine end and grounding the wire to the block with the ignition key in the run or on position.
