Hi everyone-I know this has been a topic before, my warning horn goes off constant sometimes with the key in the “on” position. Sometimes it does it sometimes it works fine, I have replaced the oil tank and now know I need a new modular and heat sensor which are on order. My question is I want to take it out this weekend and won’t have the parts to fix in time, is there a way to temporarily disconnect or bypass the warning horn?

One side of the horn connects to 12V purple, and the other connects to the senor switch wire. Disconnect either one and alarm will not sound. Tape the end so it doesn't ground out

Thanks so much! I’ll do that, just wanted to make sure the boat would still run normal without the module connected.

I have the same problem with my motor’s alarm at the moment. Just constantly on when I turn the key to “on”. I just unplugged the tan wire coming out of the oil warning module and taped it- made sure it wasn’t actually overheating or low on oil first though. Doesn’t affect the motor running whatsoever, keep us updated if you will if replacing the oil warning module and temp sensor fixes your problem- I’m interested to know myself.
