Re: Warran Sapp is a victim?????
Personally I think that Sapp is a victim. The league and the officials have treated him so unfairly that it he had no other recourse than to "bump a ref". When you have a talent such as he has, it must be allowed to run un-bridled or run the risk of mediocrity. "The Man", or in this case the league, is forcing Sapp to think about every move on the field because the only way that the rest of the league can compete with Sapps talent is to hobble his outstanding playmaking abilities.

Furthermore, if you believe the dribble that I just wrote, I am sure I can find the title to a bridge somewhere and sell it to you. Sapp has crossed the line too far in my opinion. When a player takes it upon himself to "bump a ref" in order to make a point that player needs to be humbled several steps.

It is obvious that a simple fine will not get the point across. $50,000 fines mean nothing when you make millions. However, suspend him a few games and let the Bucs and other teams see the risk he can be to them, Sapp will see the light. And if he doesn't, I am sure there are others out there with the talent and drive to be equivilent playmakers.

Then again, maybe Sapp is right, that he is a victim. After all, if the league would have responded earlier to these antics of his, then he (Sapp) might have learned his lesson sooner and not be faced with his current situation.

I'm curious if the league will draw a line in the sand with Sapp or allow the inmates to run the asylum.
