my Jasco pressure-controlled pump is not working and due for replace and as am considering a Washdown system also, I thought I would buy the washdown system (Ex. ) and just use the same pump for the Basin and Shower 1 pump to supply water to all.

Am new to this part of boating and seeking advice please.

Option1: buy another pressure controlled Pump and using a T extension can connect the Washdown kit!
Option2: Buy the Wash down kit along with the pump and make T connection to the shower and basin.

i know washdown pump will have higher pressure and than pressure-controlled and will introduce more pressure on existing system! but i thought i can handle that

Finally, any advice on certain brands or models?

thanks all for the help in advance!

Re: WashDown vs WaterPump

You're either gonna have a water system that will blow seals, or a washdown that won't wash squat ...

Re: WashDown vs WaterPump

My boat uses two identical pumps, one for raw water wash down, one for the fresh water system. Both create 45 psi, if memory serves, and work fine.
