OK, not exactly an engine problem, except it keeps me from wanting to do maintenece, so I'm using that as my argument for posting in here ;-)! Couldn't find another place that seemed better and since I live in this forum it seemed as good as place as any. Sorry if it's Off Topic..

I am 80% done replacing my entire waste system. Odor permeated hoses finally made it unpleasant. I have everything out and replaced EXCEPT the line from the head to to tank. It's disconnected on both ends but I can't get it to budge. I had PLANNED to pull the new line through using the old, but SOMETHING sure has it secured.

Any ideas on how to get the old line out? Access panels I am not seeing? It's stuck but good!

sorry maybe i wasn;t clear. I jsut need to pull the tube down the side of the boat. It's clearly fastened someplace I have no idea how to get to.

It's off the tank and off the toilet. Should just pull through but it doesn't move a millimeter.

Hoping someone here is familair with the boat model and knows the trick.

if you really can't get at it, cut an access panel and get something to cover the hole maybe a matching door.
i'm sure it's clamped so another idea is to drill an inspection hole somewhere inconspicuous. then you can see where that clamp is, drill another hole to loosen the clamp screw.
I hope that helps,

Thanks, I actually found an access panel today (nothing better to do in 100 degree heat - yuck). It ran the whole width of the aft cabin but was nicely concealed and under the mattress. Pulled it and the hose was right there. I was able to pull it INTO the cabin from the engine compartment and from the head. Trick was doing it CLEANLY!

thx for all the advice though
