Water bump .. the way it is or could be more!

Hi All,

I replaced the WaterPump in June 13, and last week, it started leaking again! so got replaced and found the bearing is bad because of the seal did let water in as it seems!

is it that such item should be replaced every 100 hours or so! or there could be a root cause or its just bad luck! just wondering.


I do allot of island hopping, but never went 'too Shallow', I have an in water fresh water flush system that I do not use as I usually run the boat every other day and think its not needed -maybe?-, could this be the reason?

Hi there, is it the sea water pump (impeller) or the engine circulation water pump that keeps leaking?

it is the sea water pump ... btw, I checked the impeller after replacement and it is in a good condition still btw !
