Water coming out of midsection 1978 evinrude 150

Hey guys, I'm a little new to boating and was wondering if it was normal for water to be coming out of the left of the two holes on the midsection? I'm running it on muffs and it seems to be coming out just fine out of the pee hole and the lower unit exaust.

It's a 1978 Evinrude 150 2 stroke.

Pull the cowl off, start it on muffs and see if you can see where it's leaking.

That's where the exhuast comes out when running at idle or low speeds to reduce back pressure, so it's normal.

If it's coming out above those holes it's not normal.
