I have 1994 18' jetcraft yukon with an OMC 115 Johnson outboard motor designed to fit inboard. with a jet unit. 2 weekends ago I was running a shallow river and sucked sand into the engine. this caused the engine to overheat. It overheated 4 times before I could get back. I tried flushing the engine out from various points in the cooling system alot of sand came out. it semmed all was well. today I tried to start the boat but the engine seemed hung up, I could turn it by hand very slowly. I took the plugs out and it turned easily by hand but water was shooting out of the lower plug holes. Can anyone tell me whats wrong?

Quite possible you fried the headgasket from the overheat. Time for a manual and some wrench-bending. I would suggest not trying to turn it over with the starter until the problem is resolved. With luck, you'll get away with a few bucks in parts. For now, get some WD40 or the like in those lower cylinders before they rust.
