water discharge

i was wandering at high speed my motor 1986 110, the water discharge is coming out of the thermostat is hot to the touch this is at high speed only, the temp is not reading hot nor does the overheat alarm go off. at low speed no discharge out the thermostat only the pisser hose which is not hot, is this normal? thanks for any replys!

thats about normal. at idle you should maybe have a mist,at wot you should see two streams and it will be hot.<br /> good luck and keep posting

thanks for reply, at idle have a slight mist on the two relief holes at full rpm or high rpm water is flying out the two back relief holes, did put stainless steel thermostat in about two years ago, it has the "bubble back" on it so it is a pain to do, was thinking about changing them over the winter!
