in the past while working on motor, i had the dark oil floating on top.now though it looks to be white like maybe its water in my mix. i also took the plugs out and when i shake them really hard i can get what looks to be water drops. do i have water in my gas? i just got it yesterday. or is my motor pulling the water from the barrel in to my cylinders. it seems to be running ok. its also pushing water out ok.

gregs,

Typically, if you are ingesting water into the cylinders, it will clean the plugs. After extended running, they'll look almost new.

If you are not sure about the quality of the fuel, get rid of it and start over.

Water ingestion from cooling water usually comes into the cylinders from a leaking head gasket(s).

Ramarian, you need to search the section that corresponds with your brand of motor. If you don't find the answer you're looking for there, start a new thread. You're not likely to get the help you need by responding to an eight year old thread. Not trying to be a jackarse, just trying to help. I'd rather light a candle than curse your darkness.;) Welcome aboard.
