 I have a 1992 85 HP Evinrude backtroller with a 32 gallon tank. Can I install a water / fuel separator on this engine. Any help is welcome.
Thanks

Re: Water/Fuel Separator

You should be able to. The only issue is that Outboards sometimes have weak fuel pumps. The added resistance of the water seperator caused them to run lean. I installed a Universal Outboard Water Seperator on my '98 Johnson 150HP this spring. I have had zero trouble with it.

they are usually mounted in the splash well, so you don't spill and gas in the boat, when servicing.
