Been getting water in bilge over the last few years, but this year I'm taking in more than ever. I've had mechanics look the engine over, but none seem to have an answer. It's not obvious how the water is coming in, and it usually enters AFTER I've parked the boat. However, lately I've had to turn the bilge pump on while out for a cruise. Since I can't see water dripping from an obvious point, I'm assuming water is leaking from the very bottom of the motor. Any thoughts?

If you can't find a leak, you can't fix a leak. Put the boat in the water and start looking. Use mirrors, flashlights, even digital cameras to find where the water is coming in at. it may not be from the engine or anything to do with the engine or drive.
Found many boats with leaky thru hull fittings, cracked livewell fittings, transducers with screws through the transom, you name it.
