I have a 1973 Searay with, I believe a ford 302 v8 "888". I've been working on the interior for the past 3 years. I'd started it now and then with auxiliary water hook up. This spring I found a crack in the exhaust manifold and had it professionally welded. I just launched it yesterday for the first time and couldn't keep it running. First at idle then when I'd put it in gear it would stall. Finally I noticed water in the engine oil and quit. I read where a bad exhaust manifold gasket can cause this ?? I think I have 2 problems, a carb problem and don't know where to go with the water / oil problem.

Ayuh,...

If you had a Freeze Cracked Manifold,...

I'd suspect a Freeze Cracked Block.....
