I HAVE WATER IN THE TANK. I LOWREED A PUMP IN THE HOLE FOR THE SENDING UNIT AND GOT IT ALL OUT AS FAR AS I COULD SEE BUT THE BOAT WAS LEANING BACK SOME SO I'M SURE THERE WAS SOME LEFT IN THE BACK OF THE TANK. I ADDED RUBBING ALCOHOL AND CHANGED THE PLUGS AND FILTER. IT RAN AWESOME FOR ABOUT 2 MINUTES AND THEN BOGGED DOWN AGAIN. I WENT AND GOT QUICKSILVER DRY FUEL AND ADDED IT. SHOULD I CHANGE THE PLUGS AND SCREW IN FILTER AGAIN OR SHOULD THEY BE GOOD? WILL THIS DRY FUEL SOLVE THE PROBLEM? I CANNOT GET THE TANK OUT OF THE BOAT W/O MAJOR WORK. THANKS A BUNCH!!

It sound's like you have done all you can. I would go over the filter's once more. Dealing with a built in tank with water in it is one job I really hate. When pumping out a tank with an electric pump, be darn careful about what type of pump you use. You want a pump with an enclosed, or explosion proff motor. Having been a career firefighter, I have known people who had a nasty surprize doing that.

The water got in there some how. Perhaps you should pressure test the tank. Drain the filter and see if it is full of water. I like the racor filters wit the clear bowl. You can see if there is water and there is a drain on the bottom.

THE BOAT WAS PARTIALLY SUBMERGED AT THE DOCK. NOT FULLY BUT THE VENT WENT IN THE WATER WHEN IT TILTED. IT IS IN A 19' ANLGER CENTER CONSOLE. I HAVEN'T TRIED IT YET SINCE THE DRY FUEL WAS ADDED. SHOULD I CHANGE THE PLUGS AGAIN BEFORE TRYING IT OUT SINCE IT BOGGED BACK DOWN THE LAST RUN ON THE LAKE? THANKS AGAIN!
