Water in hull

Last time I took the boat out, I had alot of water in the hull when I pulled the plug at the end of the day. When I flushed the engine at home, I didn't see anything leaking in the hull. I'm guessing that the driveshaft boot is leaking and needs replaced. Is this difficult to do and is the procedure outlined in a manual. The boat is a 94 Excel (Welcraft) w/ 4.3L SX Volvo/Penta drive. Thanks for any help.

Re: Water in hull

If the bellow is leaking you should plan on replacing your gimbal bearing too - just a little water can turn them to junk.

Might want to see if it isn't water leaking out of the speedometer tube. Just a thought. It would be a lot easier to fix!
