water in lower unit

i just changed my impeller and both seals, took it out for a few and i have water in the lower unit?

In the lower unit where the oil goes? Did you change fluid before you went out? Seals meaning on the bolts. A little more info as to what you did would be helpful. What motor also. Mettyfish

I have a 75 hp chysler outboard, i had the seals in the lower unit replaced, along with the housing.at that point i changed the gear oil in the unit?

I had a shift rod seal leaking one time, that evidently wasn't replaced during a "ReSeal" of the lower unit. When I would pull the boat out of the water a mix of oil and water would slowly run out.
