i have a 1995 5.7 liter carb, 260 horse power engine. in rinker fiesta vee. the problem only happens when it rains. Nothing leaks into the motor from topside, so i'm sure somehow its coming in through the exhaust but what could it be ? tks ?
I know you say nothing leaks from topside. but it sure sounds as if your carburetor could be exposed to drain water. If so get it covered up.
I can't think of a way to get rain water in through the exhaust unless there is a huge leak or some kind of wild performance pipe system that I wouldn't expect in a Fiesta Vee.
