Hello
I found some bad oil (grey and creamy)on the oilcap and in the hose that goes to the carb.
I can see the same oil on the top of the valves The oil on the dipstick looks good.
Its not a long time since I last checked it and it was fine.
Ive read that it can be just the gasket on the riser, but it can maybe be other stuff?
I have nothing to pressure test it with.
Im winterizing no, so I like to have it alright for the next season. I need to have the bad oil away from the top of the valves as well. I havent changed the oil yet. Hope you can help
Regards
Affa

Clean the stuff off the best you can, change the oil, run it up to temp and put it away!!

LubeDude

If you make alot of short runs with your boat it's most likely condensation. My car does this as I don't have far to drive to work, and the engine seldom warms up enough to "dry" out.

DougV>
