I just bought my first boat a 1984 Sea Ray 185 Monaco from my brother in-law. It has been sitting uncovered for about 3 years. I tried to work on it some last year and had a little sucess, alot of the electrical stuff had gone bad. Well today I changed out the battery cables and installed a new coil and bam the thing started running great until it started spewing this tan colored cream. Come to find out it was the oil had gotten water in it. I forgot to winterize it last year until we had already had a bad freeze I guess it got it. It has a 5.0 liter 305ci 228 hp engine in it now. If the block is cracked I'm going to put a 350 in it. I know a guy who has a 350 block. Should I get the block off him and build a 350 or get a remanufactured one? Thanks

If your any kind of wrench, Go ahead and Build your own.....
The 350 is a direct drop in....All your assessories will bolt right on....
It all depends on What You are comfortable With....
