Water in One Cylinder

96 mercruiser 5.0 in a 240 Celeberity. Any Ideas? I was thinking head gasket, but now hearing it might be from the exhaust.

Yes, it could be the manifolds, the risers, or most likely the surface between them.

having the same problem, water in cyl #6 only. I replaced riser gasket, also replaced head gasket. Ran the boat all day Sunday, came back to the boat Monday and found water again in #6. I am going to replace the manifold this weekend. Let me know if you figure it out, and I'll do the same.

Stinger222, you need to fix your problem, not his. Do the inspections and tests. Don't just fix what fixed someone elses boat.
