Help I have an 06 nitro 929 i get water seeping up at the stringer under the carpet in both rod boxes, I have tried everything to figure this out. Ive drilled 1" holes in the box looking for trapped water all dry, pulled up the carpet and watched water seep while someone else drove. it seem to come from a crack in the fiberglass at the stringer only at high idle with the front elevated,I used a garden hose to check all drain tubes they all run clean, it has done this since it was new

Wow, you said it has done this since it was new, and you had to drill holes in a two year old boat. Did you notice if the crack was there when it was new? I would take it back to where you bought it and have a factory rep take a look. Let us know what happens, and good luck.....Bob

And Welcome to iboats!!!!!

If it's an '06, it is under warranty. I would not drill any holes in it. Take it to the dealer.
