Don't worry, this is not another "where is the water coming from" post!

I just wanted to share my amazement as to how much water 6 kids can bring in the boat after a day of tubing and skiing. I pulled the boat out of the ramp yesterday evening and prepared to let the boat "potty" as my 5 year old son likes to call it, by pulling the drain. As I did, out comes about 2-3 gallons. I thought to myself, oh boy, I've got a ripped bellows or some other issue. I couldn't wrap my head around the possibility that that much water could work its way into the bilge from 6 hours of weekend fun so I spent all of the rest of the evening yesterday and today worrying and searching threads on possible issues.

Well today we went out again - just fishing and no watersports. After about 8 hours out and about (not a single fish was seen or even heard from) we hit the ramp- pulled the plug and low and behold....no water at all. My son however was less than impressed- he likes to see the water dump out and dear old Dad freak out.

Phew! Dodged another bullet in my 22 year old Caravelle!

LOL. I love it when it turns out to be nothing. It is really amazing how much water gets in with watersports. That is why I will never have carpet again.
