I have a 1992 24ft monarch, I know these are sectioned off but the very front portion of my pontoon has water in it. There are two places to access on top, I tried to get the water out of the front using a pump with about a four foot hose. It seems I couldn't access the water, I am not sure if the hose wasn't long enough or if I can't get the hose through a type of section blocking. I talked with a local shop, they said they will pressure test for around 98.00 bucks and fix the leak....but they have about a two week time frame to get to it. Is this something fairly easy that I could do? I am by no means a mechanic, but I am handy and do a ton of work on my own boat. Can someone tell me step by step on how to do this? I can rig something up to partially lift one side, but I am more stuck with how to hook air up to do the pressure test. I know it won't take much pressure, and def don't want to much.....I have read the above sticky about to much air. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

This is probably not something you want to take on yourself unless you are a very good welder. Don't know if the local shop you checked with is a weld shop or a marine place, but you might try dealing directly with weld shops that specialize in boat (aluminum) work. $98 is very reasonable, but if you deal directly with a welder you might get a quicker turnaround. I plan on having this done myself once summer is over. Good luck!
