I have a 25hp 4 -stroke suzuki. On the rear of the motor, there are two ports, side by side. I believe that one is for the exhaust and for the water from the water pump. the other had a plug in it, I think. I seem to have lost that plug some where along the way. The best I can tell the only use of the plug is to create more pressure on the other port to shoot out the water and indicate that the pump is working. Now that I lost the plug, water comes out of the port, but not with the force it came out of the other.
Can anyone shed some light on this? Is it critical I replace that plug?
