water leak after repair

I recently removed and repaired the sterndrive on my 1977 searay with a 235 omc electric shift. After reinstalling I now have lake water seeping into the bilge pit.The transom boot seems ok so, is there a seal that goes around the electric shift wires where it enters the boat through the intermediate housing that I missed?

Yep,<br /> I had one of these it was a 69 model. The wire<br />harnass has a ribbed rubber seal around it just where the lenght of wire will pass through the housing.
