Water leaking from under water hose?

[1970 Chieftain V]

1970 Mercruiser in-line 6 alpha 1. I have water leaking from under where the water hose goes through the transom plate. Any ideas?

Nevermind I found the problem. The oring between the outdrive and the bell housing had fallen out during installation. For future reference I had water leaking from the shift cable and under the water hose.
