water outlet...to pee or not to pee? that is the question, heh

got a 65 Merc 200, last week had good water exiting telltale, tested with motor on the boat but not detached from trailer, ...yesterday, performed actual launch and crapola, hardly a drop of water.....what gives?...

sounds to me like your water pump is on its way out. Have you changed it lately? If it hasnt been changed in the last coule of years then Its about time. hey sometimes these things happen . I had a brand new 200 merc not 6 hours after I bought it the water pump had malfunctioned. If I were U I would change the water pump just to be safe and then see what happens

Check to make sure you do not have a blockage in the telltale outlet or hose leading to it.
