i own a 2005 suntracker 22' foot pantoon. i've noticed alot of water; more than normal in the engine compartment. the bilge pump is working fine. everything is tight, no broken or cracked welds. upon further investigation i found while under power water starts rolling over the back end of the boat into the engine compartment. it's like someone turned on a valve. anyone else have this problem. iforgot my boat has an inboard engine with an outdrive.

I can't think of any reason for water to enter while under power. Now if your boat sits low in the rear this could happen due to sudden stops. Under power the water should be nowhere near the deck. Do you have any pictures of the stern of your boat?

If it didn't do it before and does now something has changed.

If you have access to a trailer pull the boat out, have some one pull forward a couple feet then stop suddenly and listen for water sloshing in the tubes, that would cause the back to ride low.
