Water Pressure Gauge Overheat Proterction?

Anyone utilize any type of Water Pressure gauge or engine Heat Temp Gauges to monitor proper inboard outboard water pump operation? Just nes to this and IOm thinking a gauge may be prudent to install perhaps also hooked to a buzzer? Thanx Mike

I have a 1/8" nylex hose from where the pump water enters the motor 165 L6 out thru the hull alongside the drivers seat visable all the time positive,reliable and cheap

That's exactly what the MPI engines have... Pressure drops too low, buzzer sounds...
