water pump change out

Hello==I have a 90 HP 1996 model 3 cly. Mariner Outboard engine. I would like to change out the water emp. Can someone tell methe steps involved in this process. Thanks inadvance

Dude its a piece of cake, get a buddie and a manuel. i did mine today on a 150 merc black max look at the post. Really its easy and a good lesson.

Yes, get a manual. It will make things go smoothly and pay for itself in no time.<br /><br />There are lots of little mistakes you could make, if you don't have a manual to follow.<br /><br />Step 1, disconnect battery and spark plug wires.<br />Step 34, make sure left and right spacers are put back onto the correct bolts, as thay are slightly different in length.<br />Step 68, Place key in ignition and start for a test run.<br /><br />You get the idea.<br /><br />Take your time and it will go fine.
