Don't know about any impella, but there should be an impeller just above the lower gear unit inside the pump housing. Is this what your looking for?

That's it.Do you have to drop the lower lower unit?

jhmf, Usually they come apart in the area of the pump(impeller)Dont attempt any repair without a manual.You can get them at the bottom of the page<br /> or sometimes at the library.

'afternoon jhmf,<br /><br />I'm guessing that you want to change the impeller. If this is true, then YES. You will have to drop the lower. <br /><br />You ought get a manual before you dig into it. You'll have drive shaft issues,shift linkage concerns, as well as the water pump to contend with.<br /><br />Good Luck<br />HAVE FUN!
