Water pump impeller lost a fin

Good morning all! I lost a fin on my water pump impeller and it is nowhere to be seen. It’s on a 1974 Merc 850 outboard. I’m looking for recommendations on how to find and remove the fin that I assume has lodged itself in the water jacket of the motor somewhere. Thanks for the help!
